TOFINHO MONUMENT AND ALMA COMMUNITY VISIT

Bring together your friends, snacks, drinks, sun glasses, hat and join us for a 4 hour tour exploring the past and the present of this beautiful part of the Inhambane peninsula - Tofo and Tofinho.
Our guide will take you to visit the building where the first Constitution of the Republic of Mozambique was signed in 1972, and tell you the story of a Man who changed Mozambique’s destiny forever - Samora Moisés Machel.
Take a trip and make contact with Tofo beach history. Interact with the local people, know the history of colonization linked to the Monument - The Hole of the Murdered - where many Mozambicans were executed by the Portuguese colonial regime through its colonial police - the PIDE.
Interact with the local community recycling project ALMA and get to know their role and contribution in keeping Tofo and Tofinho beach clean. Visit their art & craft shop and participate actively in producing your own crafts or buying hand-crafted recycled souvenirs.
It is essential to book one day in advance!
